Looking for a company in the NYC area to test to see if there is an abondened oil tank buried on my property.

My Petro contact just informed me that if there is a tank underground it would be indicated in records at The Department of Buildings. You can access their website via my website at http://www.HomeNY.com.

I know people who have used Metro Fuel Oil in the past. There should be signs of an old tank connection in your basement. Do you know when the heat was converted? I would be happy to check for you. I have a phone call into my contact at Petro Fuel Oil for additional information and will post as soon as I get a reply.
