I didn't realize you asked in 2 forums. . . but I am still thinking about the situation, so I will answer here, too. What I would do is print up a "fact" sheet to give out about how to care for a log home, how it is constructed, what is the insulation, etc. People may be shy of it because they don't know what to expect.
Aside from that, I would still check everything else that would effect the sale- updates, cleanliness, curb appeal, etc and be sure it is priced right. Tonawanda is selling well right now, and values are up slightly. Then try an ad to give it exposure, with some creative marketing. Advertise to the neighbors, and don't forget the local agents!
