Just because a home has aluminum wiring does not make it non-saleable. But, if it has been altered (most commonly known as 'pig tailed') it should is best to had been performed by a licensed electrician. Aluminum wiring is acceptable wiring, it just requires some additional maintenance. A good electrician or home inspector could go into details about that.
Hope this helps!
