I'm an agent living in Ocala and I did a search in Fore Ranch. Unfortunately, as you know the market today is very soft, to say the least. 8 Homes sold in Fore Ranch in the past 6 months. The highest priced home sold for close to $194,000. It was a 4/2. This is definitely not the market to recoup your investment. Probably the best thing you can do at this time is rent your investment home, and wait until the market picks up. As least in that way you will be receiving some funds to defray the cost of keeping the home. If I can assist you in any way please give me a call. I just did a quick search, but in this market, based on closed sales in Saddle Creek, and on what little is actively for sale there, I'd say that you wouldn't get your money back if you sold right now. It may take a couple of years before the market is in a positon to get you much, if any, profit. I'd be glad to talk to you in more depth, about it, though.
