If you are thinking to convert your home into a two family house, you will need to check with Kenilworth Town Hall, locate at 567 Boulevard, Kenilworth, New Jersey 07033. You can try the building Department at 908-276-5802. They will be able to inform you if your home is on a two family zone.

From the other hand, if you want to build two one family homes, you will need to subdivide the lot. The building department can tell you if that is allow and they will inform you of the necessary requirements.

Hi Go Green,
You need to check with the town to find out if you are aloud to make that change. I know there are alot of areas in Kenilworth that have two family homes, but your neighborhood might not be zoned for them.
