I would strongly suggest you consult an attorney in the area. If you like I can send you at least three that would be able to help you through your process . With family it is always better to seek professional council, that way they will stay family longer.

In most cases all those on title need to approve the sale. It may depend on the type of tenancy (ownership). I would strongly suggest you speak with a real estate attorney regarding this question. My guess is if this is a problem, then there will be a good potential of other legal entanglements that may pop up.
