Italia, Home Seller in 19342

I would like to know, if i have all necessary amounts, how to calculate what my profit will be? Is there any formula?

Asked by Italia, 19342 Thu Jun 30, 2011

I know how much I bought and how much I want to sell my house. Is it possible for me to calculate, in different scenarios how much my profit will be? Is there any formula to do it by myself, without asking a broker at this time.

Why guess on something that important? What you want to sell it for has nothing to do with what it is worth. Seek out a Realtor you can trust and get realistic and accurate numbers for everything.

Simply put you need to add the cost of selling, property taxes due, any hoa fees, state transfer tax, then add (amounts in () are approximate cost of preparing the deed (150) courier fees to pay off mortgage (50) recording release of mortgage (50) and then add you payoff amount and any commission. Any good licting agent can assist you with any fees specific to your state

Using realtors, 90%-92% sale price. Without any realtors, 96%-99%. Subtract loan payoff, what's left is in your pocket
