There is no "typical, average, usual, normal, regular"... percentage. Each agent/agency charges a fee commensurate with the services they provide.

Call a few agents in the area and ask them what they would charge, and what they provide for that fee.

As pointed out... commissions are negotiable (by law), but that doesn't mean that each and every agent will negotiate their own commission... merely that they are not allowed to "fix" a percentage by colluding with one another.

That number is negotable call an agent that you know and trust and ask them if they might be interested in helping you sell. They wil tell you what they want to charge. But make sure that they have a marketing plan. Many will want to list but have no real plan.

Legally, there is no "typical, customary, usual or traditional commission!

I sure hope the other agents who come along understand the Sherman Antitrust laws - federal laws which prohibit us from making any statements that could be seen - even if not intended- as attempting to fixi or sett pricres!
Any discussion in a public forum of so-called "standatd" commissions is inappropriate.

Thr only proper response an agent can give to this question is" ALL commissions are NEGOTIABLE!

And.............that's the truth........
So, what you need to do is .........sit down in person with several agents, and let them tell you about their commission structure....... and give you a detailed marketing plan (in writing!).

Best wishes.........
