oh boy, Maulin! You've opened the floodgates now!! :-). There are plenty of qualified, experienced and professional Realtors in our Portland marketplace (and, then, there are the part-timers, less-than-qualified and not-so-professional). How does one start making that choice? A site like Trulia is one way where you can interview from a group of active, engaged Realtors. But, you can also inquire of friends and family for a referral. This is a business of relationships and trust and mutual respect. I have been in the business of helping people buy and sell since 1985 and I tend to work mostly by referral from my sphere. It makes my interactions start with a base of trust because that referral comes a trusted source.
