If you're looking to sell by owner you can list it on Owners.com, Zillow.com and Reozom.com for free. Hopefully that answers your question.

Not certain if you are looking to post your home for sale over the internet or if you are wanting to sell your home with a professional real estate firm. If you are wanting to post your home on the internet there are several sites to do that, Craigs List is one of them, Kijiji is another. If you are wanting to list your home, it would depend on what state you live in. If it is in Tennessee or Georgia you can go to the website below and send me details and I will be happy to put together comps for you to help you establish a fair market value for your home. If there is anything we can do to help you please let us know.

That's tacky
Mary
Did you say wanted to post your home for sale, or sell your home?
I do not mean to offend, however people appear to have some misperceptions.
If I were to ask you, how do buyers find out about your home, what would your answer be?
Trulia? Realtor.com? Zillow ? Craigslist? Googlebase? Cyberhomes? EBay real estate? Yahoo Real estate?

Nope
Wrong

the 2006 NAR Buyer survey says that about 90% of the time, a Realtor shows the buyer the home they purchase. What does that say to you?
If you want to sell on your on, you are probably excluding 90% of the buyers.
Also, the same survey shows that sellers that sell on there own sell for abouyt 16% less than those that hire a Realtor.

Is any of this important? Only if your goal is to net as much as possible when you sell.
