It has been a banner year for sales and Reston has been extremely lucrative for Sellers. Traditionally the selling market is best in the Spring however, the early Fall, (September and October) usually does pick up and can be a great time to sell because there is less inventory and people are back from vacations. One thing to consider is that interest rates have ticked up for the last several months, and while still low in comparison to prior years, it does make an impact on buyers especially in the lower price ranges. That is another reason why it may be a good time to sell; Buyers may be worried about rising interest rates.
Depending on the condition, updates, ( I now these condos are newer), the location in the condo community, the floor it's on, whether you have a garage, and sales in the past 3 months, we could determine if the value of your condo has increased to where it was when you purchased in 2006, so you could sell without losing money. .
