I just found out that my house was approved for 2 bedrooms (and septic) when it is actually has 3. I want to sell my house. What should I do?

Not much you can do. In our MLS a house can have 10 rooms with windows, closets and beds, but if the approved septic system says 3 bedrooms, that is all we can advertise it at. The rules in your area may be different, but I can't imagine the cost of changing your tank and drain field would be worth it for resale.
If the same rules apply in your area, and were in place when you bought, you may be able to take some action against your seller.
