Hi Suzanne,
You've received a lot of great answers to your question. I just want to confirm that your home does need to be submitted to us by a broker or agent. If you are working with a flat fee service, please direct them to the link below to submit your listing information to Trulia.

As a consumer, you can blog about your home on Trulia. It's extremely easy to do so and you can add links, photos and even videos to your post. Please access the link below to start a blog and let us know if you have any other questions.
Best Wishes,

Paula, #1 agent obviously owns a fsbo listing website and an agent specializing in fsbo flat fee listings based on all the posts they make directing people to distrust agents. I wouldn't be suprised if this person refers via email to use a specific service as so many untrustworthy Trulia posters do, it seems to be the new scheme.
Suzanne, if this is a real poster and not another fake post for the purpose of a FSBO or flat fee service to post ads...
Trulia only allows agents to post listings on their site because it is a site supported by advertising dollars paid for by agents.
Not sure who #1 Agent is but if I were you, I would not take his advise. Sometimes you CAN sell by owner and come out ahead, but sometimes you can't.
I would use a real estate atty or an agent who is experienced, and offers pkgs that you need help on, ie: negotiation, closing, Hud1, home inspection issues.
You would stll save money and only deal with those issues you need expert guidance on.
Suzanne,
To be listed in the real estate portion of Trulia your home must be listed on the MLS. You can however, post the specific information about your home in this forum.
Good luck with your sale....be sure to price it competitively with today's challenging market.
You'll End up being here - once you are on the MLS - which you CAN do via various flat fee services. Good luck with your FSBO! Just please be careful to price it correctly - and stage the heck out of it!
Trulia only accepts listings that are represented by a broker/agent. As an owner, you may create an ad in the blog section, and even upload photos and post links.
The blog attached to the link below may be of some interest to you. Good luck.
