Your Real Estate Agent should have it in the MLS (Multiple Listing Service), Trulia pulls from the MLS database to populate a majority of their information.

If your Agent is not a member of a MLS then he/she can update Trulia manually to see that your home is listed.
Have a Terrific Thursday!

My home is listed through MLS. It's been been on the market for a couple months. I still don't see it up on Trulia or Zillow. My agent didn't like the idea when I asked about putting the home on Trulia. She said they get the information wrong and she doesn't like the website.

Talk to your agent about getting it listed on Trulia. Many agents think this happens automatically when they list you home on MLS, however some companies have opted out of the auto IDX service for some of these websites. If your agents company has opted out of the auto IDX service then your agent will have to put the listing on separately and manage it just like the MLS listing. If you agent is a Trulia Pro the listing will become a featured listing and it will show up high on the list of Trulia searched homes.
If you have more questions, let me know and I will be glad to answer them.

Your agent can do this for you. While your having him/her add your listing to Trulia check to see if they have you on all of the agent website for the most exposure.

It will be helpful to ask your real estate agent if Trulia was including in the marketing package that he will be providing you, as part the sale of your property.

Your Realtor should automatically do this for you.

Good Luck!

Perhaps it's just an error that your listing is not on Trulia. Ask to review your marketing package with your real estate agent to see if Trulia is one of the sites that your home is supposed to be featured on. Trulia is included as part of the marketing package for many top realtors. If not, ask your agent to feature your listing on it.

Hi Lacey,
Talk with your agent about what web sites he or she is advertising your home on. Good Luck with your sale! Sandy

The REaltor you are working with is able to put your home on Trulia, as long as it is listed on the
multiple listing service. No problem ..... But YOU as the owner by yourself cannot put your home
on the Trulia site. Sorry.

Your agent will be able to do this for you. Ask your agent to make sure it is listed on Turlia and I sure he/she will make sure it gets listed.

Your agent should be happy to put you on any website.

Trulia pulls from MLS however an agent can pay monthly to be a Trulia Pro agent. The biggest advantage of being a Trulia Pro member is that our listings get seen 10 - 12 times more often.
