Ms. Mccrossin,
I am also from the Hilliard area and I found a local real estate company that could list my home on Trulia. They are based out of the Polaris Mall area. Their website is lotsapeoples.com. They can also get you on MLS, but I just went with their FSBO package which puts you on Trulia. I strongly recommend the FSBO route. We had our first bid in under 10 days. We were in contract shortly thereafter. Web advertising is effective, but the number 1 thing is to clean and declutterize your house and price according to the market. We did that, put out a custom sign (printed at Staples) and some flyers with nice pictures and ran two open houses. Hope this helps.
Hi Kathleen,
I believe that Chris is correct about listing your home on Trulia. I advertise my listings on Trulia and other major home search sites. You can visit my website and send me an email if you would like to sit down and talk.
Hi Kathleen,
Unless Trulia has made some very recent changes, I don't think it's possible for you to list your home here unless it's listed for sale with a broker than has a multiple listing service agreement that feeds to Trulia. You can advertise your home in the blog section, but it won't come up with the other listings you see advertised here. You may want to try Craigslist.org, that's a good way to draw some interest for free. Good luck to you.
