Thanks for the update - good to know it does not syndicate to Trulia or Zillow if it is a FSBO! It looks like it would still be a good option to use their service - I had a FSBO who found two buyers using postlets with Craigslist.

Okay Victoria,

I have been serving time for posting basically the same erroneous info you did below. My punishment has been to correct all those that do as I had done. Read the footnotes> http://www.postlets.com/info/postlets2.php

Annette,

You can make an announcement on trulia in the blog section and even post photos and insert links.
BTW, whether you are represented by an agent or not, the blog attached to the link below may be of some interest to you. While it is directed to FSBOs, there are some ideas in it even if represented that you possibly could implement to augment your agent's marketing plan. Please, if represented, always keep your agent abreast of anything you do on your own, and use your agent for the contact person. Good luck.

I would also recommend putting your home information on Postlets.com which will not only send it to Trulia, but also Zillow and a dozen other popular search sites. It is a free service and has helped For Sale by Owner's find their buyer's. Just add the open house information to your postlet, so you don't have to manually add it to each individual site.

Hi Annette,

You can have your listing and open house time displayed on our site. This said, we currently do not display For Sale By Owner listings, and you will need to have an agent submit your listing and open house to Trulia.com. Once we receive the submission, the listing should go live within 24 to 48 hours.

Cheers,

Sol with Trulia

Hello Annette,

First you need to have your home listed on Trulia, then you can post an open house. You don't need to even list with a local agent to do it....

Good luck!
