Hi Shannon,
I am not sure what top 5 is to you.... It may be something completely different to different Buyers and different Sellers. To some it may be the name and reputation of the brokerage company they are associated with.
For others it is the Agent/Realtor who truly understands their situation, their needs for their new home and and requirements for the sale of their current home and coordinating the two of them....
For others it may be the capacity of that agent to stage their home for sale, for his or her creativity in creating an impressive brochure, or better yet for many these days they want a tech agent, one who is ready and willing to post your home just about anywhere on the internet, the more sites the better. For Buyers the most important quality in an Agent besides truly understanding your likes and dislikes and needs is to be available when you have time, and to eventually even preview homes on your behalf to save you time....
Other clients may not want to have to deal with a whole team, they want that one agent work on their behalf.
Others are looking for honesty, straightforwardness, professionalism and expertise, not always is the indication of how many millions sold last year or the year before an indication that that particular agent is the right one for you....
So if and when you interview agents to work on your behalf make sure you let them know what it is that is most important to YOU in your agent, that way you have the best chance to find the BEST Agent for YOU, and then he or she will be YOUR top agent!
I wish you luck in your search for your trusted Agent.
If you would like me to recommend a Realtor Colleague of mine, I would gladly do so.
By the way the agent has been in the business for 25 years, has a brokers license, is a Certified Lux Home Mktg Specialist, has the CRS and GRI designation and many company awards over the last few years. I am sure you will be in very good hands with her and it would be worthwhile to meet with her.
Just e-mail me directly if you would like me to make the referral to edithsellshomes@gmail.com
Once I hear from you (please state your full name, a phone number if possible, your e-mail address
and your current address so that I can pass some info on to the agent and at the same time I will
forward to you all her contact info, address etc. Where will you be looking for your new home?
Sincerely yours,
Edith
