Carol, What are your current costs for your homes mortgage payment, interest, homeowners insurance, and taxes? That would be your starting point.
You can view some of the current leases available by going to http://moveinmichigan.com and entering 1 or 2 thousand as the maximum price in a search for Redford. You are also able to narrow the search to bedrooms and baths if too many homes come up. If your current total payment is higher that rental rates you find, you may have to rent at a loss. Make sure you ask your current agent about this option and the potential dangers before renting. Fri May 16 2008, 12:07 Web Reference: http://mi-living.com
