Hi: Thanks for your question. Definitely print advertising is dead these days or almost dead. We are getting almost all of our exposure on the internet. Between the MLS, Realtor.com, Trulia.com, & Zillow.com, that's where the majority of buyers are coming from. If you want more information, please feel free to call me at my office: 914-273-9688 or you can see my website for more information: http://www.GrandLuxRealty.com. Sincerely, Michael F. Levy, Principal Broker, Grand Lux Realty. BTW, we're looking for more agents & offer commission splits of up to 80% with no fees. If you know anybody who might be interested I'll pay you up to $2,000 each for your agent recruits. Have a great day.

Our company, Prudential Serls Prime Properties still does print advertising. We actually have our own magazine that is distributed in the area. Print advertising is not what it used to be, but can't be ignored. Now you need a visible web presence with visible being the key word. The best web site in the world is worthless if it can't be found. As far as print advertising, I went to my daughters softball practice this morning and sure enough someone had a real estate magazine they were going through.

If you spend money on print advertising - you should promote yourself. The only people looking in the paper for houses are sellers. They think - ooh, there's my house. Nobody contacts you. It's usually a waste of money.

Robert i'll tell you i have discontinued using the monthly Real Estate magazines, as it was by the time they came out, my listings were 2-3 weeks old and some were already sold or had changes. As far as news papers, they are useful in local marketing.

Online ads are instant, i load a new listing and within minutes i am getting clicks.
