Can a seller sue the buyer for backing out last minute on selling the house? (State of Florida)

My parents just recently almost sold their house. Everything was finished, the papers were signed, all the inspectors came out and nothing was wrong.. my parents got everything out of the house and even moved into a new place to live. Down to the last hour the man said his not divorced yet wife did not want to sign the lease so he is now backing out.
