Why don't you want to seel your house without an expert real estate agent? I wish you could spend a day with me and see all we have to study. In life you get what you pay for. I am not sure wht type of job you do, but it is like bypassing a lawyer, or a doctor, a dentist, a mechanic, a building contractor or anything else in life.
YES I agree with you, these past few years there were a lot of fly-by-night sales people who flooded the market and did a big unfavor to the rest of the industry who know how to conduct a transaction.
There are a lot to know in real estate, contrary to what you may thin, and I can understand. But I can guarantee you, that if you were to spend a little time with you, I could prove you why you need an expert to help yousell your house.
You can do a will without a lawyer. You can divorce without a lawyer. You can do an estate planning without a lawyer. You can do a lot of things without an expert, but you will not get what you think you are getting, because rememebr that lawyers have spent many yers studying and they are very valuable. You get what you pay for and a home is not just about selling, a home is not just 4 walls and a roof, itis an investment, and you cannot know all these things in detail for as long as you did not study anything.
You must surround yourself with expert if you want to achieve financial freedom. real estate, is no exception.
