Sharon Go

Hello Users of Trulia!

HGTV contacted us to see if we have any fun, energetic homeowners in the Baltimore area who are about to put their house on the market AND want advice from their panel of experts. It's a new series and they are looking for enthusiastic participants!

If you are a home seller that fits the bill and you aren't adverse to a little fame, either let me know in the comments here, or email me through my Trulia Voices profile and I will connect you with HGTV!

Let the new series begin!

I have a fabulous park front row house in Patterson Park. Although I have completed many cosmetic fixes there was little major work I completed. I would love to have help from HGTV --of which I am a fan....!
I am listing my home next spring and would like guidance on where to put my efforts ! THE house features exposed brick, laundry on second floor.. 4 full bathrooms.! Every bedroom has a great bath.
the Laundry room and upstairs office need some changes to add the features people will want. Although this is my humble thoughts ---I would WELCOME help!

We are in Washington Village (pigtown) and we are looking for help!! So, we are in Baltimore City, a couple of blocks from the M&T and Camden yard stadiums A quiet street believe it or not, completely renovated-granite countertops, hardwood floors, wood burning fireplace, exposed brick, fenced patio, double shower, jacuzzi, his & her sinks, ceramic tile, stainless appliances, recessed lighting, washer/dryer in the bathroom (super convenient) 1.5 bathrooms, unfinished basement ...here's the thing...it's a one bedroom. So, it's perfect for a bachelor or bachelorette or newlyweds. We are trying to sell but the fact that it's one bedroom freaks everyone out, once you see it though, you'll love it!! hollywoodchick@gmail.com if there are any realtors out there with experience selling in this area or if HGTV is interested, we'd love to show you what we have!! Cheers, but HEEEELLLLPP!!!

Thank you but I've already interviewed several realtors and we have picked one we will list with. I thought if this show could help us to sell it, it might be fun. Thanks anyway

I have a 4 bdr. 2 bath, rancher on 8.75 acres in Monkton, Phoenix, Jacksonville area (closer to Jacksonville/Phoenix. We are told it's unique but too ordinary for anyone to be interested since it's a rancher.. We have a 20x40 inground pool that they say could be a good thing or a bad thing. We have a pole building 40x60 used as a garage that people, realtors, say will sell the house instead of the house itself! So, we really could use help!

Hi Sharon,
Is it strictly for Baltimore City or is it open for the Baltimore Metro area? What series is it? We need expert advice!

Our real estate situation would be a great challenge for the ambitious. We have a home built in 1900. Full of character, stained glass, glass knobs, "old time" woodwork. A bit about us. We have worked in the healthcare profession for many years (hence little time for family and home). We have made some improvements, an old home never stops needing improvements. Soon after moving in we realized we really would rather have the choice to work alittle less and spend more time with our loved ones. Downsizing is the answer. This home, although beautiful and in an interesting area, is not our passion. Sad realization. It is a worthwhile passion for someone. We put the home on the market July 2007. Yes, you read the date correctly. We have had moderate interest, but no offers. We would like to have some help in presenting our home to sell. She is grand, deserves a family who will embrace her and carry her into the next phase of her life. We would like to move onto the next phase of our life. Enjoying the simple and precious pleasures in life that we have sacrificed for so many years. We appreciate the priviledge it has been to serve others in need. The rewards have been amazing. Our own family needs us now and has waited patiently. Please consider our request for assistance in improving and finding a buyer for 5714 Cross Country Blvd. Mt. Washington, MD 21209. Our phone number is 301-639-6648.

My wife and I are getting ready to sell within the next 30 days. We have a 1924 4-square home in a sleepy old neighborhood in North Baltimore. We have made lots of do-it-yourself improvements (new cedar shingle siding, new deck, new garage, kitchen floors, walk-in closets built as additions... on and on.) There are still lots of projects to be done, but it's time for us to move on and let the next family enjoy. Have we made the "right" improvements? Should we do more to improve the appeal? Is this old neighborhood on the move? That seems like a good narrative to me?

Hello,

I have a beautiful 3 story townhome I am getting ready to market in Rockville. The kitchen needs an update (currently linoleum and formica counter tops). I have poured $4000 into this house to prepare it for selling. I would love to be a part of HGTV's show....especially if they could help me minimize the older kitchen. Built 1995, property is large, 2600 sq ft....highly sought after school district. Thanks for giving me this opportunity.

Hi There,
I'm in the process of getting my house ready for sale--there are a few things--like the incomplete pond and the 75% complete basement refinish that remain and are overwhelming to me. I am a lover of renovation and enjoy getting dirty--I dug the pond all by myself! I have a bubbly and energetic personality and am completely addicted to HGTV!

The home is in the Cubhill area--zipcode 21234.

Hope to hear from you!

We have a waterfront outside of Baltimore that we are trying to sell. We have used a DIY brokerage to get it on the MLS for the past few months with no offers and are now considering a full service brokerage.
