Usually this done by the same person who performs the termite inspection and carries a very reasonable fee.
There is specific verbiage in the Virginia Jurisdictional Addendum that states that the Seller will pay for these inspections. However you may not use that Addendum in your area so your agent should advise you of the best way to handle well and septic inspections.
