Kingston is a nice place to live. There is a lot of history there and beautiful old stone houses.

There are some excellent teachers in the schools which means your kids can get a good education.
Higher taxes accomplish this. IBM came in there around 1955 and prices soared. Then they pulled out and the market dropped through the floor. Basically, values ultimately settled down and
became stable again. It's a darn shame when a big corporation does this to a sleepy old town. Generations of the same families still live there. They must like it!

Kingston is not a hot area. Tax is high incomes are low. A great deal of business going out of business.
