Can I have escrow company reevaluate the appraisal price to exclude the sqft of the unpermitted addition and adjust down the purchase price? Thanks!

House purchased two years ago. Unpermitted addition was included in MLE and HUD as legal.

Huh? Escrow companies don't reevaluate appraisals.

Thanks for the replies. I was wondering if there's anything I can do since the additional square footage was illegally included in the listing and sold as such, which means the house could have been accessed with a smaller square footage. Neither my agent nor the seller took this into account at the time.
