I own property in 34747 and near by zip codes. Insurance runs from $1,000 to $1,200 per year. However, I've been with my insurer for a number of years. For new owners, rates can be much higher. When my tenants bought one of my properties last year, their insuance was 50% more than I had been paying. These are all homes without pools. A holiday home with a pool would kick up the costs.

One option to get quotes is to check out a website like http://www.BrandedQuotes.com - you submit information on the property you want to insure and get multiple quotes. I find that my client's quotes can vary dramtically from provider to provider - this way you get several competetive quotes.

I would not want to hazard an estimate. You may want to contact a firm I use for more info/rates, Nationwide Insurance, who frequently brokers these type of policies through a firm called ASI. Their number is 407-856-0000, ask for Elizabeth.
