Most condo's in the Cocoa Beach area carry the flood Insurance in with their HOA fee's if required. However it is always good to check before you make the purchase.

Insurance in Florida changes on a daily basis it seems. I would have to refer you to an expert. For years rule of thumb was around $200 more but everything in the most recent times things have changed. I would give Robinson insurance in Indialantic a call. Their number is (321) 723-1248 and ask for Sue.

It could vary depending on the unit; and it could even be part of the insurance already in place for the complex.
Do you have a particular unit in mind??
