Because it is a condo, the Insurance is paid as part of your HOA (Home Owners Association) monthly fee. You are only responsible for insuring the inside of the condo (personal property).

Because we are approaching Hurricane season, if a Hurricane gets close to Florida all companies "Freeze" selling policies, so it's important you get this taken care as early as possible.
Important - A loan on a condo unit will not be allowed if the HOA is more than 15% in default. If that is the case your only option will be to purchase the unit cash.
