will a bank finance modular home? Is it better t go thru finance comp, like a foreclosure ? with a finance comp is taxes & ins included?

If your looking for financing on Modular Homes I have a local Lender who does them.
Plus she knows her stuff.

Your best bet on Modular homes will be state chartered banks with local decision making. If you would like some names and numbers contact me at dedwards@weichert.com.

I'm with Byron on this one. Mortgage Brokers do 1 thing, mortgages:) Modular home purchases are tricky. So, make sure you have a team in your corner how knows how to shepard through such a challenging purchase. I have done them in the past and I am also completing another right now. Yes we would be able to help on true modular. As stated below, if its already on perm land then this should not be an issue. You could always get more info on qualification at http://www.homeloanswichita.com! Be prepared for additional inspections throughout the process, appraisals, structural engineer reports, etc. Its case by case...

Yes Janice, there are a few banks in the Wichita area that will finance a modular home if it on personal property. Typically if you are looking at a foreclosure you will want to finance thru a bank and yes they will include taxes and insurance.
