Take a look at the listing for 9000 Deal Island Road. Too good to be true? I have never been to Deal Island before...

Hi John:

Like Rob, I have sold property on or near Deal Island at auction for some very good prices.

The first rule of real estate is location and there is a saying about Deal Island...

It ain't the end of the world but you can almost see if from there...

Bieng 3-hours from Washington, DC is now what I would call the end of the world, its just the last strech of road getting to the Island that feels like it goes on forever.

There are some pretty good values there but you should take a look to see if its what you want.

Just a year ago I auctioned a lot on Deal Island. A friend of mine from REAuctions also auctioned several lots in that area. The problem is its such a low lying area and somewhat out of the way. There are some beautiful homes there, you just have to be careful of the lot itself....and......BUGS!

Hi John,

I just checked out this listing. No, it is not a mistake, it is indeed $499,000! What a "deal." The one question I would have is regarding the condition of the home itself because there are no photos of the interior. But really, even if it had to be torn down--it still seems like a steal! If you are interested, don't dawdle! Let me know if I can be of any assistance to you. LDevnew@cbmove.com
