Hi Sd1234. As Andrew indicated below, the term "overpriced" is truly subjective. The final sales prices of homes in Charlestown Meadows are fair market value of those homes (that is, the price that a buyer is willing to pay and a seller is willing to sell).
There certainly ARE townhomes in Chester & Montgomery Counties that are available at a lower asking price than the townhomes in Charlestown Meadows. Age of the townhome, amenities, location, etc. all play a factor in price.
If you'd like, I would be happy to search the MLS for ALL available townhomes that meet your criteria (price, number of bedrooms, baths, square footage, location, etc.) and email them to you. Feel free to call me at (610) 324-5240 to discuss your needs.
You've chosen a GREAT time to buy.......if you're a first-time homebuyer hoping to take advantage of the $8000 tax credit, please note that time is running out -- you need to have settlement on your first home no later than November 30th.
Good luck and blessings to you..........
Warmly,
Judy
