Since my colleagues have defined Bank Of America as the mortgage lien holder, let me say that if you in fact are looking for foreclosures/distressed homes...let me know. I'm an SFR and glad to be of service. I've worked many foreclosures and short sales. These homes are selling and in many cases, the buyers are seeing some very good deals. Just contact me. Thanks and Good Luck

As the other s have said, it is a question not asked much. If you are interested in the home, it does not matter who is the mortgage holder, they all will ask for an appraisal and ensure they are loaning no more than fair market value. You may choose any lender you wish.
If you call me and let me know specifically what your wanting to do I can help you. Sounds like the best thing for you to do is connect with a Realtor and Loan officer, so give me a call.

It was Nations Home Mortgage but on 4/6/2009 they sold the loan to World Alliance Financial Corp, but they assigned the mortgage to Bank of America on 5/3/2010.

So currently the mortgage appears to be with Bank of America.

I agree with the comment below, it is a weird question to ask, but there's your answer.

I am curious why you would even want to know that.
