Homes throughout Saratoga that fall within the Saratoga school district have demonstrated great resale value through the years. At the price point of $2.2 million, I would say you will see a stronger resale value in the area of Glen Una and Fruitvale.

I would agree with Susan. Work with an agent who is familiar with Saratoga and who can provide you pricing trends and comps in the neighborhoods that have caught your interest.

The entire city of Saratoga is always a great place to live. The best way to find out about an investment would be to work with a local realtor to find the lowest priced home in an area with higher priced homes in order to obtain the growth needed/highest resale value when selling. Keeping in mind it is always "what the market will bear" at any point in time.
