Also, look for HUD homes with a website that ends in (or has in the middle) .gov . I tried it but either the site is down or my computer is acting up.

Those are all the free official government websites. You will have to narrow down the search by state and city.

That or have a real estate agent do it for you.

Your best bet is always to work with an agent. Remember, banks require these properties to be listed and a good agent can work with you to provide an offer that has the opportunity to be accepted. They will also be able to give you comps so that you can make a knowledgeable decision on price with their counsel. I would be happy to assist you with this and invite you to read my profile and what other buyers say regarding my service. The service I provide for buyers is free. Marilyn (702) 348-7146

Aida,

If you are thinking about purchasing a foreclosure home, please contact me. My cell number is listed below. I have access to all of the foreclosures in the Las Vegas valley. You can pick up some really nice foreclosure homes at a great deal right now too. Also, my service and representation for buyers is completely free. Hope to speak with you soon.
