I can send you a list if you are more specific. Condo/Co-op, size of apartment, zip code? My firm handles over 50% of the sales transactions that occur in the city each year, so our listing system is pretty accurate. Bank appraisers often call me for recent comps. Email me with more specifics at: gminnick@elliman.com
Thanks for that Andy, I'm just starting master this site and my way around it.
Umm, right here on Trulia - link below! All you need to do to get there is in any search result apge, even here, hover your mouse over the "find Homes" and the 5th one down is the sold homes in whatever area you are looking at.
Audrey where exactly did you find Closed sales on NYTimes? As great as NY times is for looking up whats available and streeteasy giving some information, many times that CLOSED SALE information isn't accurate. Not all agents put down the actual closing price, what you may find is the last asking price. When it comes to Condo's you will have much more luck finding that info, when it comes to Co-ops that's only starting to appear and still there is barely anything out there that a buyer can research themselves.
You will have more of a shot going on Acris or Property shark.
nytimes.com and streeteasy.com both allow you to look up specific addresses to see recent sales.
Pgoenka, I'm sorry may I ask what you would do with that Information if you had it? It would also really help if you were more clear on your question. Are you referring to Houses as in Brownstones and Townhomes, Coops or Condos. How far up on the East Side were you thinking, prices in the 60's and 90's are completely different, and what Price Range are you looking at, number or bedrooms and square footage? All of that comes into consideration when you are trying to get comparable data.
If you can be more specific, we can definitely take this further.
Best Regards
Alen
Hi Stefani, Thanks for the really quick response to my query. Is this data publicly available? If so, where could I find it? Conversely, could you forward this information (specifically for the last 3 months and 12 months) via e-mail? Thanks
A broker can give you all that information easily :) If you want some informaion just ask me. space@elliman.com
