Shakti,
For Dekalb County: https://dklbweb.dekalbga.org/TaxAssessor/ and JC is in Fulton, so Fulton's should work. I have some additional tools that can help in doing a property research from home. Give me a quick ringading 7-881-7034. Have a great weekend. -cc Fri May 9 2008, 10:51 Web Reference: http://39DollarMLS.com

Shakti,
You should check the county web site and do a search in the real estate records or tax records. For fulton county it is http://www.fultonassessor.org and for forsyth it is http://resolution.forsythco.com/default.asp Now Shakti, the tax records will give you decent information, I would also speak to an agent that has mls access to be able to check those listings. The listing will hold the following info that will help you determine the circumstances of the sale. Days on Market, Original List Price, Dates of Price Reductions, Seller Consessions, and interior photos which would give an indication of condition. After the house closes (is sold) this is public information in the county tax records. Fulton County is a bit slow in recording this information... it can take a few months sometimes. If it is a property that was listed, a real estate agent can look up that information through the multiple listing service. You might also be interested to find out how much the Seller paid, if any, of the Buyer's closing costs.
If you would like me to help you with this information, you can reach me via email... LouiseL@mindspring.com Tue Apr 15 2008, 12:22

You can go to the AJC and look up the sale notices for the area; they are published weekly in the paper. You can also check on AJChomefinder.com, go to home values at the top and then enter your address or search for your subdivision. It is all a matter of public record and you will also be able to access them at the court house.
