It is best to contact the township and hear it from the horses mouth. Call the tax assessor at 856-234-6272 because there is a tax rate and an adjustment. web site: http://www.mountlaurel.com/taxes/assessor.php

Hi Bill, you need to find out from the builder what the tax rate is in the township or call the tax office Most of the time you do not get the taxes on new construction till closing.

The taxes would depend on the home's square footage, lot size, amenities, etc. I am posting the township's website so you can call and give the tax assessor all the details. They should be able to give you a general range of the yearly tax.
If you are buying from a builder, they would have all that information already.
