On the main page there is a link for you to search for listed properties
When you open that link you will see a page where you can enter different search terms
one of the terms is guesthouse.
email ddefaz@pacbell.net, and also twittter or facebook with same addresses.

An agent can set up a search of the MLS for you that just singles out properties with Guest Houses. I don't think there is something you can do on your own. You will need an agent to filter this type of search of homes in Pasadena, Altadena and Sierra Madre with Guest houses.

Your Realtor has the ability to narrow down a search to only include properties that have a guest house on the premises. For example, I just entered a search on the local MLS and found that in the city of Pasadena and Altadena, there are currently 6 properties under $800K that have a guest house listed in the property profile.

You can do it on your own, but that might be too time consuming. The public sites do not have a filter to separate the ones with a guest house. Your best bet is to start working with an agent and let your agent do all the work.
