Northeastern PA offers a wide variety of locales specific to your dreams. At one end of the spectrum you'll find homes in 4 Season Resort communities such as The Hideout & Hemlock Farms; offering golf, tennis, lakes, beaches, pools dowhill skiing, etc. At the other end, you'll find neighborhoods centered around a focal amenity or theme, i.e. a particualr lake, game lands, tranquility. And of course there's everything in-between. Prior to making a decision, I'd suggest a tour of a variety of communities to determine what enironment works best for you....and you won't be able to get that feel, until you get here. I can tell you this....there are hundreds of homes to choose from and sellers are looking to negotiate great terms.

Lakeview Estates is a beautiful community with many amenities not as many as some of the communities but it is also much smaller more personal community....many year round residents and some just their summer homes but these are beautiful homes....there are a few weekly rentals here but not many...the lake is wonderful....fishing is good (we have a catch and release system here)....tennis anyone....baseball field...basket ball courts....a quite lovely community....well worth the look...kind of hidden not to many people know about this community....there are just a small amount of homes for sale in there check out the bulletin board.....lovely walking trails...a very nice community a must see for anyone looking to buy in this area...plus the best of schools....

Here's a link that will help you make your own decision.

Check it out and compare it to other communities, making your own decision. I believe people don't want to be sold, they like to buy.

Each community in Lake Ariel has different fees. Some have multiple amenities; others have a lake and a beach. A buyer should decide on which community will meet what they are looking for in lifestyle and budget. Any buyer can call any realtor and be given the fees and basic amenities for any community and should do so. Knowledge is the key!

Paupacken Lake Estates is on of the nicest community in the Lake Ariel Area. This community provides a lake and private beach. Also it is only 10 minutes away from Lake Wallenpaupack. The school district if interested is on the top of the list of schools. If you would be interested in looking for homes in this community or others please visit http://www.TMoorerealestate.com

The Hideout is a four season community located about 20 minutes from Scranton, Pa. The community features 24 hour security, gated, 240 acre motorboating lake, beaches, pools, skiing, golf, tennis, arts & crafts. Its a beautiful community and worth every penny that you spend.
