Just trying to see what the minimum credit score you can have to purchase a house.

The minimum mid FICO at this point is 600. EVEN with an FHA loan. The other criteria will be based on the overall credit report. Most investors won't buy a loan with less than 620 FICO and I only know of one that allows a 600. I have heard of 580 as being a possiblity but I have yet to find anyone doing these.

Varies wildly depending on the mortgage product, your down payment and other factors. Do what Donald suggested - talk to a lender.

Talk to a lender (there consultations are FREE and it doesn't cost you anything).

I have heard 620 but I am not a lender.
