Mary and Patrick here have answered a lot for you already.

What you really need to do is drive around each of these communities at different times of the day and see if you would like to be a part of what's happening there... Depending upon what stage of your life you are at, you might want to see the children playing around, people walking their dogs and the commuters returning home walking / by car and so on... Don't forget to visit during weekends too!

See what YOU like and get an agent who will show you and understand you...

Style, community amenities, walking to train, schools are all important to some people. If you are looking for a community with traditional style homes and a community pool and clubhouse, look at Le Parc. Sunrise is a walk to train and high school, contemporary style homes, some have be very undated, some need work, check it out. Stoney Brook is a mix of traditional and contemporary homes, a bit of a walk to high school, but not impossible. Be care of power lines in Stoney Brook. there are other areas of West Windsor that you may also consider, the schools are great and the Community Park w pool, tennis and a skate park are an extra bonus to living here.
