what is the best way to find out who owns a property. My dad used to own a cabin up glacier lodge road.

I'd like to rent it for a week or so. kindof a family reunion. my email is roykmccrory@gmail.com His property was just west of Gary's property. he was the guy who built the airfield. below him was charlie and then brian then my dad's place on the south side of all the cabins in the area. I think it is called hinds rd but I don't remember if it had a street address. any information would be appreciated also phone is 310 220 9655

FIRST ANSWER

That information may be online; Google [city or county] tax assessor--ie, Fairfax County Tax Assessor. The exact name may be somewhat different, but that search will usually get you to the right place. Even if you don't know the address, many tax offices have maps online, so you can identify the specific parcel (and other information) just by zooming in on the area.

I'd also try contacting the postmaster and the chief of police in the area. The postmaster probably could help; the police might, as well.
