A good site to check condo ratings is: http://www.condochatter.com/, it only covers those developments where people have commented but this may be a good place to start. What is good value can be different to each person depending on what they consider important. Another option is Old Forge Crossing close to Chesterbrook so location is great, just off Route 202 for easy access to West Chester or KofP. There is a new development in Devon called Devon Green, just converted to condos, not sure how many are left as most sold. Last time I checked there was one second floor unit available.

Hello there! When you state you are looking for a great value, do you mean something very affordable or something with potential resale value? Or does this mean something different altogether to you? And why is this important?
You also mentioned that you travel to this area, is that why you are considering buying a condo? If so, there may be another practical way to protect your investment. I would consider buying a house style duplex with an apartment style unit for you to use if only occasionally if that's what your plans are. This way you have an investment property that you can rent and also a place to stay when you need it. In the West Chester and surrounding areas alone there are many homes like this or that can be modified this way and our area is great for short term rentals which demand a higher rent than average.

There are several 1 bedroom condominium developments that are located just off West Chester Pike. One of them would be Goshen Valley with prices around $140,000 +-. Another would be Summit House. Goshen Commons is another as well as just west of the Boro of West Chester another development called Bradford Square where 2 bedroom flats are around $200,000 +-. I did a quick search and there must be approximately ten 1BR townhomes/condos for sale and approxmately fifteen 2BR townhomes/condos for sale in the West Chester school district. None of these include the Chesterfield development. Homes in this area do have good value. Best of luck.
