depends on the kind of building (luxury amenities); how close to the beach (hurricane insurance); sq.ft. & no. of bedrooms,; and whether electricity is included or not. It also depends on the no. of units in the condo assoc. to share the expenses with...so each building is different...can't say there's an avg....if I were to venture a guess, $100-$350/mo. for 1br's, and $400-800/mo. fr 2 br's...the high end, luxury amenities/beach properties start $1000/mo fr 2br's...does that help?

Hi DJ,
There is no average. Maintennce fee is based on the sq. ft. of your unit comparative to that particular building. And the buidlings vary from little walk ups to mini-mansions in a condo form. The maitnenance can be from 150-1900 a month, and that is just in Hallandale.
But if I had to say "avergage" on a middle of the road place with a pool and the basics for a 2 bedroom it is about 500.00/month. Keep in mind that includes your insurance so you do not need to purcase it as you would need to in a house.
A townhouse is about 175-350 depending on what amenities are in the complex.
I am sorry there is no real average. Remember it will always be a little higher near water becasue of the flood liablility.
If you search any of the real estae web-sites, such as my compnies below you will see the maintenance fee on the lisiting, that should help to give you and idea.
If you need assistance with your search I work this area and know the buildings very well.
All the best,
Beth Jenkins
