The average days on market varies from area to area. But in February 2014 the statistics from the Honolulu Board of Realtors for the Island of Oahu stated that the median days on market for single family homes was 24 days and condos was 34 days.

Now, in 2013, average days on the market for the entire island of Oahu is less than 30 days for a single family home. Crazy market!

Average days on market, about 45 days. Waipahu has many communities within it. Waikele, Waipio Genrtry, Royal Kunia, Village Park, being some of the newer areas built since the 1990's, even 2000's. There are older areas too with some fabulously large "extended" family homes. The offerings in "Waipahu" in general are very diverse. Days on market depends on SUPPLY AND DEMAND, desirability of the particular property (including location, condition, size, etc) and the financing market. Many military families, who come and go every 3 or so years, like living in Waipahu, so for the most part, Waipahu moves. ~aloha~

Over the last 6 months the average days on the market for a single family home in Waipahu is 65 days. Keep in mind that the number of days it takes a home to sell is in direct correlation to a number of factors which includes price, condition, location, financing available, etc.
