The day the lease begins is your move-in date, regardless if it's a holiday or not. If you would like to arrange a different move-in date, contact the property manager or landlord.

You can only move in the day your lease starts unless you've made arrangements with the owner or property manager to move in early. Holidays mean nothing when it comes to a lease. You also need to make sure you have the utilities in your name the day the lease starts unless their included in your rent; otherwise you will not have any power, water etc. when you move in.

The effective date of the lease is your move-in date unless you arrange moving in early with the landlord.

Holiday has no bearing on your lease effective date.

Best.
