Prescott and Lake Havasu City are two popular destinations if you like quiet. I have not been to Prescott but everyone says it is the bee's knees. Lake Havasu City is pretty nice. The old London Bridge is there along with plenty of roadrunners. I hope you like hot weather. Good luck!

Hi Thomas,

I'm familiar with the Anthem area of Arizona since my parents relocated there 6 years ago for their retirement - it is the northern most area of Phoenix and is a Del Webb community. There is a gated golf club area as well as non gated areas called Parkside. Within the gated area are 2 golf courses, 2 club houses (each with their swimming pools, hot tubs and tennis courts) which can be used by anyone in the gated neighborhood. There is additionally a beautiful water park with water rides, fishing, walking paths as well as a club house with a beautiful gym that can be used by anyone in either Parkside or the gated community. Shopping is plentiful there and it is near the Anthem Outlet stores.
Best of all - the people are soooo nice! It is a nice mixture of people from all over the country who have relocated.
If you would like additional information about this area please give me a call at (516) 410-3594.
Good luck!
Arlynn
