Yes you own the house and slip. On Hayden Island you also get a 2 car garage! This is pretty rare for a floating home community. I'll give you an example for fees: MLS 13260365 has fees of $305 a month currently that covers most of the utilities and all of the dock fees. It also has property taxes to the tune of $2,264 a year.

They are all different the homes and condos, house boats. Some have slips with the units that the owners have bought so there is no rule. Animals are specific to each condo the size of animals and if they are approved? You have to start with your price range and add in HOA to see what you can afford. You need to speak to a lender and get pre approved. House boats have different lending rules than condos or homes so I keep adding questions to your question. Call me if you have specific questions?
