First make sure their Real Estate Attorney, not Immigration or corporate, etc. Its like going to the Dentist for your feet. The Average price in qQueens is $900-$1200 for Co-op's and $1200-$1500 for Houses or Condos.
Make sure He or She have an assistant or Paralegal to answer all your questions.

It may be best if you were to inquire directly with a few law firms to determine which professional has fees in line with what you are willing and able to pay. Realtors are not Attorneys and we have no input regarding the fees another professional charges for rendering services.

I have to agree with my peers. The price range varies and is negotiable between a client the vendor/provider. I second Mr. Tarrats. Please call and gather all the information you can from each firm you contact so you can make an informed decision.

Expect to pay from $950 - $1500. Keep in mind that the attorney should not get paid until the deal closes. Most reputable attorneys operate this way. The exception would be f they order something on your behalf where substantial work was performed, ie. survey. Rates for Attorneys differ like eating out differs. You should call the attorney and ask his/her rate and what services is provided.

It depends on the attorney but usually around $1K. There are some that will charge less but you will get less service and they will charge you extra for even postage stamps. I work with several attorneys that I could refer you to. Please feel free to give me a buzz or shoot me an email.
