Note: the County Commissioners in Walton Co recently approved a millage increase, due to assessed values decreasing, so the taxable dollars will likely remain similar for 2011, though the rates may change.
Homeowners Insurance for those houses will likely run around $1200-$1,500 per year.

I just looked up a HUD 1 for a 103,000 home, and the taxes are 128/month, so I would think your taxes would be approximately twice that on a 200,000 home. Now, that is not with a homestead exemption which will save you taxes on 50,000 of the value. So it would only be 256/month until you apply for and are granted the 50,000 exemption.
